Zen Tea EGI, a cozy place for students and customers alike...
They say that you can never have a day without seeing a person drinking a cup of Zen Tea when you pass by De La Salle University-Taft or if you are a student there. Honest enough, I kinda agree with what they say. This made me intrigued before and wonder what is with this ZEN TEA that makes it very popular to lots of people near the campus. Zen Tea is not just in EGI, they have lots of branches as well although I do not know all. I've seen one near CSB, another one in Alphaland at Magallanes (I know there are more... I'm sure of it).
Zen Tea EGI branch is spacious enough for their milk-tea
customers to relax in a cozy lounge-type layout.
Zen Tea's menu has the casual drinks most people would crave for. Not just milk-tea, Zen Tea also serves tea drinks especially their oh-so-creative "PersonaliTEAS" menu. The thing about Zen Tea's PersonaliTEAS is you cannot know what each of the menu name is or what it contains unless you ask the guy in the cashier to know. They have various menu choices including Malt Milk Tea, Flower Milk Tea, Taro Milk Tea, and my personal favorite, Yogo (Yogurt Milk Tea). Their staff are pretty plenty as well for a place that small.
I was alone during this milk tea experience and my adventurous side isn't active, so I just ordered "Autumn" (it's Zen Tea's Deluxe Nai Cha) XL for P70.
Yummy Nai Cha + Tapioca Pearl + Something I can't distinguish +
pudding (I guess) = ZEN POWER!
Zen Tea - "Autumn" Nai Cha Deluxe Judgment
- the DELUXE in Nai Cha = 8 pts.
- Comfort given (yes, the drink comforted me) = 4 pts.
- Drink relation to venue = 4 pts.
Professional Judgment: Drinking at Zen Tea actually comforted me despite being alone and not-so-comfortable that time. There's this comfort it gave me that makes me go like "ahhh, I've missed this" since I haven't drank at Zen Tea for months. Drinking the milk tea inside the area actually boosts up the drink power (or whatever you call it) since the environment really adds up to the experience while drinking milk tea, add up the fragrant smell of different flavours at the counter (and yes, music mashups for BG)
That's it for now (and I'm really sleepy now)... Comment me up if you want me to feature something or you wanna say something :)
CHEERIO!
