Pardon me for being excited with this post but, it's because it'll be my first time blogging and featuring an international drink!!! Yeap, my family and I visited Hong Kong for some particular reason, but of course, food tripping would never be out of the list when going abroad aight?
Chinese peeps strolling and eating around Soy Street
So, my mom, my bro, and I was strolling around Soy Street and I found this pretty interesting and big Milk Tea Establishment. Time for me to meet my first milk tea at Hong Kong, COME BUY.
Yeap, Chinese menu...
HD Screens are good examples of customer attracting paraphernalia
When I was trying to order, I wasn't as confident as I am considering not everyone knows English. I was hoping I'd be lucky enough on what to order through the menu but the full Chinese menu just made me lose every inch of hope I have left. Luckily they have an English menu on the actual counter and took me a while before I finally chose my drink considering the very unique drinks I'm not familiar as compared to local ones and the toppings are just plenty to choose from.
Just like most Milk Tea shops, they have their customization options as well...
I was hoping to capture and read as much labels as I can considering this is very new to me but, I ignored most considering they're in Chinese and I cannot read such so...
Honestly, the menu was really exciting as they have so much kinds of Milk Tea drinks as well as variations of classic drinks. The menu was large but each drink seems to be very unique from each, not just the usual flavour addition via fruit or whatever.
ANYWAY! Onto my drink...

COME BUY Hong Kong Milk Tea with Tapioca Pearls and Noodles
- LITERAL Hong Kong Authenticity Flavour = 9
- Noodles Oodles = 5
- Different Feeling = 4
Professional Judgment = Aside from the fact that it's my first literal Hong Kong Milk Tea, it's taste was just premium. The flavour of the milk tea as is is very great. What intrigued me is "noodles". I have to admit that I love noodles per se from the different soup noodle dishes including ramen, udon, soba, ramyun, and so much more, I never imagined noodles being a topping of milk tea (the noodles were Soba I think) but it really gave it a very unique experience for me, added the fact that it's really tasty as well!Yeap, I don't see any mistakes with my name considering I can't understand the receipt...
That stainless steel counter is just plain sexy... oops, I mean, stylish
I apologize for the long blog post but I really had fun trying different food and drink (milk tea of course!) at Hong Kong. Join me next time for more Milk Tea goodness!
CHEERIO!
